...PLATELETS!!! She is moving higher!!! White blood cell count is still low.
We had a good day today. Amelia walked and sat up in bed today. She continues to make small improvements everyday. This evening, she had a blood clot in her diaper, so we are holding on the food and water for yet another day. We still do not know how long before we will go home. Since her white
blood cells are low, we still have some things to work on. We have been
working with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to build her
strength back while she is in. She is weak from not really being up and walking around for nearly a month now.
Pray for continued improvements and that we are able to build her strength. Also pray she gets her appetite back and gets back to the place she was at home, eating and drinking extremely well.
